- The Full Form of UNICEF stands for United Nations Children’s Fund.
- This is formerly called as United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
- It is special program who works for the needy children and their mothers.
- On December 11, 1946 this was established by the United Nation General Assembly after the Second World War.
- In 1950, the General Assembly extend this to help the needy children and their mothers.
- The UNICEF became permanent partner of the United Nation General Assembly in 1953.
- More than 190 countries the UNICEF is working.
- This program of United Nation works with business mans, government and the local community of the different countries.
- The main aim of the UNICEF to provide food, shelter, education, medical facilities and many other urgent facilities and helps for the needy children and their mother of the country.
