On Diwali Lakshmi puja is one of the important rituals performed during the festival of Diwali. However, people perform this ritual in order to invite Goddess Lakshmi at home. So that life of the people can be filled with the Joy, wealth, peace and prosperity.

  1. Purify your house properly by sprinkling Gangajal. After this spread a neat and clean cloth on the platform and place grains in the center. However, now you need to place kalash in middle. Fill it with 75% of water and put one supari, one marigold flower, a coin and some rice grains. Now arrange 5 mango leaves in circular form around the neck of kalash.
  2. Moreover, after this place the goddess Lakshmi in the center. Place some coins in front of it. However, lord Ganesha is given first importance in every puja. Therefore, on the right side of the kalash, place the idol of Ganesha. Light diya to get the blessings from Lord Ganesha.
  3. Now do tilak and offer flowers to each of them. Put the garland and apply haldi and kumkum. Burn few Agarbatti and dhoop. Now place some sweets, coconut, fruits and money or gold ornaments in front of it. Now start the performing the Lakshmi puja aarti.
