Maharashtra day is celebrated on 1st May every year. This is a wonderful day in maharashtra. Maharashtra is situated on the west coast of the country. Capital of Maharashtra in Mumbai. The Governor of Maharashtra is Bhagat Singh Koshiyan. Formation of the day was 1st May 1960. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra is Uddhav Thakaray

Maharashtra is a wonderful state in the country. This day represents Maharashtra traditions and culture with their own thoughts. We also know about Mumbai. Because Mumbai is called “Mayanagari” and “Film City”. 

Famous things about Maharashtra are Attire. Attire is dhoti & kurta, Sari, headwear etc. This gives them a traditional look. It is the identity of their own culture. 

Maharashtra street food is famous around the world. Street food is pav bhaji, aloo chat, gol gappe etc. This food is spicy. People love this food in the rainy season. 

Architecture is world famous in Maharashtra. Ajanta, Ellora caves, Hotel Taj, Bibi Ka Maqbara, Marine Drive, Gate of India, Rock cut etc. It all increases the beauty of the state. 

Traditional language of Maharashtra is Maratha. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is proud of the state. Maharashtra people provide more respect to Shivaji Maharaj. He was a great and courageous warrior who fought for his own right.  

Mahrashatra is the best tourist place in summer,rain and on new year. Because this is famous for food, attire, religion, traditions, festivals, art and craft, film industry, folk dance, music, language etc.

Marathi songs are famous in Maharashtra with their own folk music. It gives them special respect and identity in the country. Here everything is different from other cities and states. People are glad with this culture of state. 

Both cash crops and food crops grown in Maharashtra like wheate, tobacco, bnana, oranges, rice, graphs, mangoes etc. This is a good agricultural state in the country because it provides food and fruit for selling to other states. This is called agriculture business.
